COURSES
Total Station, a modern surveying instrument that has revolutionized the field of surveying, is a combination of an electronic theodolite, an Electronic Distance Meter and a dedicated software running through an external software, used worldwide for precise surveying operations and is fast replacing the traditional methods of survey.

The Civil Engineering Department of Amal Jyothi offers a training programme for students that provides a proper grounding in the fundamentals of  Total Station Survey and fully equips them in the art and use of the instrument. Two separate courses have been successfully conducted : a 1-month course for ITI Civil/ Survey students and
a 3-month course for SSLC/PDC students, which were inaugurated on the 23rd of March,2009. The 23 students who participated in these programmes are today well placed in companies, providing us with the incentive to induct a fresh batch of students for the next course scheduled to start in the month of April,2010.
