Royal Mech Association

           The inauguration  of the activities of the royal mech association for 2007-08  was held on 2^nd November 2007. the chief guest prof.V.I.Cherian(EEE Department) delivered a lecture .Principal Fr.Jose Kannampuzha presided . Godwin George and Jinson K Jose of S7 were felicitated in recognition of the prizes they won for paper presentation at various competitions .Kurian John , secretary , welcomed the gathering and Vimal Sabu , Joint secretary  preposed the vote of thanks .

Two new labs were set up - Heat Transfer Lab and Mechanical Engineering lab . Mechanical association organized a seminar on 'Formation of crcks in Hydraulic Turbines ' led  by prof.V.I.Cherian  as a part of the association activities . As part of Industry-Institution partnership a first round discussion was held  with peermede development society . As a result , our students are going to do a few innovative projects in collaboration with PDS .

Achievments

Jithin Thampy  , John Paul Joseph and Vipin Antony of S5 ME bagged  prizes in University  Inter-Collegiate wrestling competition  held at St.George's college aruvithra on 31^st October 2007 .

Felix Jerome Clitus , Tom Alexander ,Siby V. Joseph , Giby Mathews and Thomas George were members of  the basketball team that won second prize in M.G University south zone tournament .
