July - December 2009

Business Skill Development Programme

Entrepreneurship Development centre And Department of Mechanical Engineering department has jointly organized  this course. This programme is sponsored by ministry of MSME through MSME Development Institute Thrissur. Selected 30 students from various departments are attending this course. This course consists of 100 sessions of different topics from entrepreneurship with an aim of generating young entrepreneurs. Only few colleges apart from AJCE is offering this course in Kerala like NIIT Calicut. 

Student Achievements 

 Final Year mechanical

1. Mr. John Jose Pattery and  Mr. Jittu Varghese Kurian of  S7 Mechanical were in the final round of TechTop 2009 for their project "Robo for Borewell Rescue" held at Technopark Trivandrum on 17^th & 18^th of August 2009.
2. Mr. John Jose Pattery and  Mr. Jittu Varghese Kurian of  S7 Mechanical won  the First Place in Project Presentation at Aavishkar 09 held at Mahatma Gandhi College of engineering, Thodupuzha, in  August 2009.
3. Mr. Felix Jerome Cleetus of S7 Mechanical was a member of the AJCE Basketball Team which won the Third place in M.G University InterCollegiate Basketball Tournament held from 22^nd to 24^th September 2009.
4. Mr. Amal.S.Siju of S7 Mechanical won the Second  place in M.G University InterCollegiate Chess Tournament held on  26^th September 2009.

Third Year Mechanical    

1. Mr. Nirmal Tom Babu of S5 Mechanical won the Second  place for Paper Presentation  in  Mechnius 09 held at SaintGits College of Engineering, Pathamutttom on  24^th September 2009.  

Second Year Mechanical  

1. Mr. Nithin Cherian of S3 Mechanical was a member of the AJCE l Team which won the Second place for Theme Show in  Bharatham 09  held at FISAT, Angamaly, at  19^th October 2009.
2. Mr. David Thomas of S3 Mechanical was a member of the AJCE Basketball Team which won the Third place in M.G University InterCollegiate Basketball Tournament held from 22^nd to 24^th September 2009.

 First Year Mechanical   

1. Mr. Sachin  Thomas of S1S2 (H Batch) Mechanical was a member of the AJCE Basketball Team which won the Third place in M.G University InterCollegiate Basketball Tournament held from 22^nd to 24^th September 2009.
